Background:
Coach Snell is from Midland, TX, she attended MCA and graduated in 2012. From there she went to the best university in Texas, Texas A&M. After she graduated from A&M she married her high school sweetheart, Benjamin Snell. Coach Snell lived in Austin for a couple of years and then in Colorado for a couple of years. After the pandemic she moved back to her hometown to teach at MCA! Last fall the Snell's welcomed their daughter, Leila Bird, into their family and have loved having her in their lives and sharing her with the MCA family! Coach Snell enjoys playing almost any sport and being outside as much as possible. She hopes to raise her daughter to enjoy sports and playing outside as well.
 
Coaching Experience:
When Coach Snell lived in Colorado she was a ski instructor for 2 years, specializing in young children. (2018-2020)
She have been the assistant golf coach at MCA for the past 2 years. (2021-2022)

High school cross country team (2009-2011)
High school golf team (2011-2012)
 
Interesting Facts:
  • Coach Snell says she is not a very competitive person on the sports field but you better watch your back if we’re playing a board game or if you try to tell me you’re a better skier than I am.
  • The Snell's go to Egypt every summer to help coach at a sports camp for high school kids. This will be her fourth year coaching Ultimate Frisbee at camp!
  • Coach Snell loves hiking! Her favorite hike she has ever done was the rim to rim hike in a day through the Grand Canyon in early summer 2021!
